I’m Shelagh Cummins, a teacher at heart – but most of my clients know me as a Business Coach, Growth Strategist and Speaker. (And my friends know me as an aspiring hockey player, wannabe daredevil and proud mama bear.)
A decade ago, after teaching for 12 years, I traded in my regular paycheck for the freedom and flexibility of entrepreneurship. I started out with a parenting blog and tutoring business – it wasn’t until I was the emcee at a business conference that I discovered my true calling and began facilitating women’s online business training.
I have a unique background in experiential education with a Master’s in Education and Certificates in Effectiveness Coaching and Strategic Intervention Coaching. That combined with my corporate leadership training inspires my practical, hands-on approach to helping YOU achieve real, life-changing results.
My mission is to show overworked and underpaid women entrepreneurs across the globe that it IS possible to build a profitable, sustainable business - without drowning in debt, forfeiting family time or working in their sleep.

Will I get results?
I wish I could guarantee results, but I can’t. Sometimes two students with access to the exact same tools get different results based on their level of knowledge, tech savvy, motivation and experience. But if you’re prepared to work hard, you’ll see progress.
I’m just starting out. Is this for me?
PowerUp Your Business is for new business owners, side hustlers, and full-time entrepreneurs who are ready to starting working ON their business and not just in it. Whether you’re trying to get out of the feast and famine cycle or break through the $50k/year plateau, PowerUp Your Business can help. If you’re already making 6-figures or more, my 1:1 coaching services are your better bet. What type of business owner is this meant for?
Most strategies are applicable to most types of businesses, the content will specify when a strategy is for service-based or product-based businesses. But we’ll cover both online and offline branding, marketing and sales strategies. And of course, your responsibility is to ask "how can I make this apply to me?"
How does the membership site work?
PowerUp Your Business is setup on Kartra, which is a secure membership platform. You’ll be able to login to the course materials at any time using your unique username and password while your account is in good standing.

When are the group calls?
You will receive reminder emails, reminders in the Facebook group and reminders in the membership about Training calls and Live Q&A calls. They happen on Tuesdays at 12:00-1:00 pm EST.
